The 2023 UAE Tour took place from February 20 to 26 and featured seven stages across the United Arab Emirates. Organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, this prestigious cycling event brought together top teams and riders, forming part of the UCI World Tour. The race started at Al Dhafra Castle and ended at Jebel Hafeet, covering a total distance of 1,028.2 kilometers. The UAE Tour 2023 included a mix of flat stages and mountain stages, with prominent locations such as Jebel Jais and Jebel Hafeet providing thrilling climbs and opportunities for general classification contenders to make their mark. Remco Evenepoel of Soudal-QuickStep emerged as the overall winner, maintaining the Red Jersey throughout the race. Other top riders included Luke Plapp of Ineos Grenadiers, who secured second place, and Adam Yates from UAE Team Emirates, who finished third.
